The Funeral Director will be responsible for coordinating and conducting funeral services, cremations, and burials, while providing exceptional care and support to families during their time of need.

Key Responsibilities
  • Consult with families to plan and coordinate funeral services, including selecting caskets, urns, and other funeral merchandise
  • Prepare and present eulogies, obituaries, and other funeral-related documents
  • Coordinate with funeral homes, cemeteries, and other service providers to ensure seamless execution of funeral services
  • Manage funeral home operations, including inventory, supplies, and staff supervision
  • Develop and maintain relationships with families, funeral homes, and other stakeholders to ensure excellent customer service and satisfaction
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, regulations, and best practices to ensure compliance and quality service
Requirements
  • Embalmer Licence
  • Funeral Director Licence
  • Driver's License
  • Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
  • Criminal record check
Working Conditions

The Funeral Director will work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks and responsibilities simultaneously. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
