Hotel Assistant Manager Job Description

Akma Holdings Incorporated is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hotel Assistant Manager to join our team. As a key member of our hotel management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our hotel, ensuring that all aspects of the business are running smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures for daily operations
  • Supervise and manage a team of staff members
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to staff
  • Negotiate with suppliers to secure the best possible deals for materials and supplies
  • Prepare and manage budgets, monitoring revenues and expenses to ensure the hotel is operating within its means
  • Oversee maintenance activities to ensure the hotel remains in good condition
  • Enforce policies and procedures to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and timely manner
  • Assist guests with special needs and provide exceptional customer service
  • Develop and implement business plans to drive growth and revenue
  • Establish and manage work schedules to ensure adequate staffing levels
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Flexibility and ability to work as part of a team
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced hotel environment, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of the hotel.

Language:

The primary language of communication is English.

Work Hours:

The successful candidate will be required to work 30 to 40 hours per week.
