We are seeking a Senior Commercial Account Manager to join our team in Calgary Quarry Park. As a key member of our business development team, you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities and managing a portfolio of existing clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Network with entrepreneurs, clients, and prospects to identify business opportunities and provide advice on BDC's financing solutions and advisory services.
  • Create action plans aligned with the Business Centre's objectives to ensure the growth and retention of current clients and acquisition of new clients.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with local business communities through networking and association memberships.
  • Exercise credit judgment and showcase analytical, negotiation, and finance proposal presentation skills.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in commerce or business administration.
  • More than 5 years of relevant experience in commercial credit or business analysis and development.
  • Demonstrated ability in business development and delivering on objectives.
  • Strong negotiation and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and build lasting relationships with peers, business contacts, and external partners.
