Join the team at Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH) as a Family Physician specializing in Geriatrics.
VCH is currently seeking a part-time Family Physician to serve at Purdy Pavilion Long Term Care, which is situated near a prominent healthcare facility.
Purdy Pavilion is operated by Vancouver Coastal Health and provides a diverse environment for primarily elderly residents who require comprehensive long-term care.
In this role, you will report to the Medical Coordinator at the site and will be instrumental in addressing the primary healthcare needs of residents while contributing to the formation of a collaborative inter-professional care team.
As part of your responsibilities, you will share on-call duties with other physicians in the residential care sector. We invite you to be part of our dedicated team.
As a Family Physician – Geriatrics with Vancouver Coastal Health, your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering direct clinical services to residents
- Promoting a collaborative inter-professional practice environment
Qualifications
Education, Licensing, & Experience:
- Current CPSBC License
- Designation or eligibility from the Canadian College of Family Practitioners
- Experience in geriatric care
Knowledge & Skills:
- Dedication to health improvement and effective care delivery
- Ability to function within an inter-professional healthcare team
