Join Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH) as a Family Physician specializing in Geriatrics.
VCH is in search of a part-time Family Physician to work at Purdy Pavilion Long Term Care, situated near a prominent healthcare facility.
Purdy Pavilion is operated by Vancouver Coastal Health and provides a diverse environment catering primarily to elderly residents with complex long-term care needs.
In this role, you will report to the Medical Coordinator at the site and will be instrumental in addressing the primary healthcare requirements of residents while contributing to the formation of a collaborative inter-professional care team.
As part of your responsibilities, you will also participate in shared on-call duties with other physicians in the residential care setting. Become a valued member of our healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities as a Family Physician – Geriatrics:
- Deliver comprehensive clinical services to residents
- Encourage a collaborative inter-professional practice environment
Required Qualifications
Education, Licensing, & Experience:
- Valid CPSBC License
- Designation or eligibility from the Canadian College of Family Practitioners
- Experience in geriatric care
Skills & Competencies:
- Dedication to enhancing health outcomes and care delivery
- Ability to collaborate effectively within an inter-professional healthcare team
