Job Title: Legal Assistant

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Legal Assistant to join our team at Raj Dhillon Law Corporation Ltd.

Job Summary:

The Legal Assistant will provide administrative support to our lawyers and staff, ensuring the smooth operation of our law firm. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is looking to gain experience in a fast-paced legal environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate the flow of information and maintain accurate records
  • Prepare and key in correspondence and legal documents
  • Review and proofread documents and correspondence to ensure compliance with legal procedures and grammatical usage
  • Provide administrative support to lawyers and staff, including scheduling appointments and maintaining filing systems
  • Assist with tasks such as opening and distributing mail, and preparing minutes of court sessions, meetings or conferences
Requirements:
  • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
