Job Title: Legal Assistant

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Legal Assistant to join our team at Canadawide Immigration Consultancy Services LTD. As a Legal Assistant, you will provide administrative support to our legal team and assist with various tasks related to legal documentation, correspondence, and case management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Schedule and confirm appointments with clients and stakeholders
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date filing systems for legal documents and correspondence
  • Prepare and key in correspondence, legal documents, and other materials as required
  • Review and proofread documents and correspondence to ensure accuracy and compliance with legal procedures
  • Perform basic bookkeeping tasks, including preparing invoices and bank deposits
  • Assist with the preparation of legal documentation, including contracts and agreements
  • Provide administrative support to the legal team, including answering phone calls, responding to emails, and performing other tasks as required
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a legal or administrative role
  • Post-secondary education in a related field, such as law or business administration
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications
