Position Overview
The Brewery Taproom Operations Manager will oversee the daily functions of the taproom, fostering growth and empowerment within the taproom team. This role entails direct management of the taproom staff, ensuring that all responsibilities are fulfilled efficiently and in accordance with the standards set by Ninepenny Brewing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage cash, credit, and gratuity processes, including deposits, balance management, and tip distribution among the team.
- Create and oversee the taproom staff schedule, ensuring optimal shift coverage.
- Monitor inventory levels, manage reordering processes, and ensure proper stocking.
- Oversee food preparation while adhering to safety and quality standards.
- Implement standardized operations based on industry best practices.
- Handle human resources tasks and processes effectively.
- Engage with customers and plan events to enhance the taproom experience.
- Possess in-depth knowledge of beer varieties, flavors, profiles, and pairings.
- Ensure the maintenance and cleanliness of draught lines.
- Supervise daily taproom activities, ensuring adequate support, training, staffing, and resources are available for the team.
