Job Summary

Tabor Home Society is seeking a seasoned healthcare professional to fill the role of Assistant Director of Care (ADOC). As a key member of our leadership team, the ADOC will be responsible for overseeing all nursing operations and ensuring the highest standards of resident care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Lead and manage a team of nursing professionals to deliver high-quality care to residents.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
  • Monitor and evaluate resident care programs to identify areas for improvement and implement changes as needed.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with healthcare providers and community partners to ensure access to quality care services.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in nursing or healthcare administration.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in a long-term care setting.
  • Valid nursing and CPR certification.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
