Abbotsford Christian School is seeking a highly qualified and experienced leader to fill the role of Executive Director/Head of School.

The Executive Director is the chief administrator of Abbotsford Christian School and is directly accountable to the ACS Board of Directors. As a visionary leader, the Executive Director advises the ACS Board on policy, decision-making, and long-range planning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic direction and leadership to the school community
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the effective operation of the school
  • Collaborate with the ACS Board to achieve the school's mission and vision
  • Lead and manage the school's leadership team to ensure effective leadership and management
  • Communicate effectively with staff, students, parents, and the wider community

Requirements:

  • Recognized post-graduate university degree (preferably a master's degree or professional designation)
  • More than five years of senior leadership experience
  • Strong leadership skills, including the ability to provide direction, encouragement, and motivate staff
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, including strong negotiation skills
  • Ability to liaise between ACS board members, staff, and community members

Salary Range: $160,000 - $185,000, plus an extensive benefits package, dependent on an applicant's qualifications and experiences.
