About The Lamb Company

We are a leading food processing company seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Shipper Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our logistics operations, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient movement of goods within our facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate Activities: Work closely with other departments to plan and execute logistics operations, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of goods.
  • Report Preparation: Prepare and submit detailed reports on logistics operations, including inventory management and shipping activities.
  • Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve work-related problems, providing technical advice and recommendations to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Training and Development: Train and mentor junior staff members on logistics procedures and policies.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain accurate inventory records, ensuring that all goods are properly stored and accounted for.
  • Shipping and Receiving: Oversee the loading and unloading of goods, ensuring that all shipments are properly identified and documented.
  • Quality Control: Inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices and other documents, ensuring that all products meet quality standards.
  • Logistics Planning: Plan and coordinate the operational logistics of the organization, including the movement of goods and materials.
Requirements
  • Education: College or CEGEP diploma in a related field.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a logistics or supply chain role.
  • Work Setting: Industrial facility or establishment.
  • Personal Suitability: Accurate, flexible, initiative, judgement, organized, reliability, team player, and dependability.
Working Conditions
  • Work Term: Permanent.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 40 hours per week.
