Logistics Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Logistics Operations Manager to join our team at Inter-citi Logistics. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our logistics operations.
Key Responsibilities- Co-ordination and Planning: Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure seamless execution of logistics operations.
- Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and submit regular reports to management on key performance indicators, including operational efficiency, productivity, and quality.
- Equipment Maintenance: Ensure the smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery, and implement measures to prevent downtime and optimize performance.
- Problem-Solving and Training: Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality. Train workers in duties and policies to ensure compliance and efficiency.
- Workforce Management: Co-ordinate, assign, and review work to ensure optimal resource allocation and productivity.
- Operational Planning: Establish work schedules and procedures to ensure efficient use of resources and minimize delays.
- Leadership and Supervision: Supervise a team of 5-10 people, providing guidance, support, and coaching to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their duties effectively.
- Education: College/CEGEP degree or equivalent experience.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a logistics or supply chain role, or equivalent experience.
- Personal Qualities: Accurate, client-focused, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, judgement, organized, reliability, team player, analytical, and proactive.
