We are seeking a skilled professional to join our IT division as a Supply Chain Application Specialist . Reporting to the Manager of IT Supply Chain Operations, you will play a critical role in supporting and enhancing our Supply Chain systems by collaborating with key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expertise in ERP Supply Chain Modules, including but not limited to DRP, MRP, Transportation, procurement, order management, inventory management, WMS, BOM, manufacturing, finance, and integration points.
  • Act as a liaison between business units and the IT department to accurately interpret business needs and facilitate proper ERP application setups.
  • Offer application support for designated ERP applications related to Supply Chain.
  • Identify, prioritize, and resolve application issues to ensure operational stability.
  • Conduct root cause analysis for recurring issues and implement preventative solutions.
  • Collaborate with vendors and support teams to address complex issues.
  • Perform functional, technical, and performance testing to ensure the stability of custom and vendor application systems.
  • Document departmental and IT processes to ensure consistent support practices.
  • Create and maintain documentation for application systems and database environments.
  • Develop and enhance in-house or externally developed application systems based on business needs.
  • Foster strong relationships with IT team members and business stakeholders to deliver reliable application solutions.
  • Participate in application development projects to assess impacts and ensure stability.
  • Provide training on various application systems to business users.
  • Ensure compliance of supply chain applications with corporate policies and industry regulations.
  • Implement security protocols to protect sensitive supply chain data.
  • Drive operational efficiencies to reduce organizational costs.

Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of the cannabis industry is a strong asset.
  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Computer Science or a related field.
  • 5-10 years of experience in application support and system analysis.
  • Extensive experience with ERP systems (Sage X3, SAP, Oracle, JDEdwards).
  • Strong understanding of IT operational processes and control frameworks (ITIL, COBIT).
  • Experience in publicly traded organizations with robust IT General Control frameworks.
  • Familiarity with enterprise-level ITSM (ServiceNow).

  • Knowledge of global organizational support in the cannabis sector.
  • Broad understanding of computer systems technology and software development methodologies.
  • Experience in fast-paced, innovation-driven environments.
