Simulation Learning Centre Faculty

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Simulation Learning Centre Faculty to join our team at Saskatchewan Polytechnic. As a key member of our Simulation Centre, you will provide leadership support for both the hospital unit and technology unit, collaborating with simulation faculty to determine appropriate simulation technology applications, scenario content, and curriculum integration.
Key Responsibilities- Provide leadership support for the Simulation Centre, working with programs to determine simulation technology applications, scenario content, and curriculum integration.
- Collaborate with simulation faculty to orientate faculty, staff, and students in the use of simulators and delivery of simulated clinical experience/scenarios.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of simulation experiences and assist in the development of evaluation tools.
- Collaborate with the simulation technician and simulation coordinator to plan and schedule simulation events, including developing and managing processes for packaging, processing, and distribution of supplies.
- Develop and maintain IPSLC policies and procedures, and establish and maintain internal and external relationships with faculty, simulation lab professionals, vendors, and community leaders.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or Advanced Care Paramedic with a Bachelor's degree.
- Eligible for registration (active status) with the Saskatchewan Registered Nurses' Association, or Licensed with Saskatchewan College of Paramedics.
- A minimum of two years recent and relevant experience as a Registered Nurse or Advanced Care Paramedic.
- Effective communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, as well as instructional ability and technology skills.
- Small group facilitation skills and leading, modeling, and teaching interaction skills.
- Ability to arrange, maintain, and evaluate resources.
- Ability to function as a team member in an ever-changing environment.
- Demonstrated competence and recent experience in the use of the internet, e-mail, MS Office Suite software, and the ability to learn and adapt to changing technology.
