Faculty - Simulation Learning Centre

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Faculty member to join our Simulation Learning Centre team at Saskatchewan Polytechnic.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will provide leadership support for the Simulation Centre, working with programs to determine appropriate simulation technology applications, scenario content, and curriculum integration. They will also collaborate with simulation faculty to orientate staff and students in the use of simulators, deliver simulated clinical experiences, and evaluate the effectiveness of simulation experiences.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with simulation faculty to develop and revise scenario content, and integrate technology and simulation in the curriculum.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of simulation experiences and assist in the development of evaluation tools.
- Collaborate with the simulation technician and coordinator to plan and schedule simulation events, and develop processes for packaging, processing, and distribution of supplies.
- Collaborate in the development and maintenance of IPSLC policies and procedures.
- Assist in the development of inter-professional learning opportunities in the Simulation Centre.
- Establish and maintain internal and external relationships with faculty, simulation lab professionals, vendors, and community leaders.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or Advanced Care Paramedic with a Bachelor's degree.
- Eligible for registration (active status) with the Saskatchewan Registered Nurses' Association, or Licensed with Saskatchewan College of Paramedics.
- A minimum of two years recent and relevant experience as a Registered Nurse or Advanced Care Paramedic.
- Effective communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Effective instructional ability and demonstrated skills in the use of various technologies and delivery methods.
- Ability to apply theory, practices, and principles of adult education.
Evening, weekends, and travel may be required.
