We are seeking a skilled and dedicated physician to join our Hospitalist team at Nova Scotia Health and IWK Health. As a Hospitalist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a dynamic and fast-paced hospital setting.
Responsibilities- Provide Patient Care: You will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients in the hospital setting. This will include ordering diagnostic tests, prescribing medications, and developing treatment plans.
- Coordinate Care: You will work closely with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure that patients receive the best possible treatment.
- Participate in Quality Improvement: You will participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve patient outcomes and hospital processes.
- Collaborate with Colleagues: You will work collaboratively with other physicians, nurses, and healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Eligibility for Licensure: You must be eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Nova Scotia.
- Coverage: You must have coverage with the Canadian Medical Protective Association or proof of alternative coverage.
- Advanced Life Support: You must have Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Basic Life Support: You must have Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
