We are seeking an enthusiastic individual for the role of Eddy Current Testing (ECT) Trainee. This position is integral to our operations, providing support to experienced technicians in the field of inspection services.

ROLE OBJECTIVE

The ECT Trainee will engage in various technical tasks under the close guidance of senior technicians, contributing to the successful execution of inspection projects.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

General Responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with senior technicians on mock-up maintenance and managing tool inventory.
  • Assisting in the execution of inspection projects as part of a team.
  • Performing general non-destructive examination (NDE) tasks in the field.
  • Supporting senior technicians with pre-deployment preparations.
  • Completing inspection documentation accurately with oversight from the acquisition operator.
  • Aiding in the review of equipment prior to deployment.
  • Setting up tests utilizing various materials and equipment.
  • Preparing tools and hardware for operational use.
  • Executing portions of field tests under the supervision of qualified personnel.
  • Complying with all safety and quality standards while maintaining a focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Demonstrating an understanding of Continuous Improvement processes.
  • Recognizing process controls and assisting in the calibration and testing of equipment.

Additional Responsibilities during Outage work:

  • Performing duties as an Acquisition Trainee.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • A diploma in a relevant technical field such as electrical, mechanical, or NDE, or equivalent experience (0 to 2 years).
  • Progress towards a Level I NDT Technician certification with a focus on ECT.
  • Willingness to travel extensively for site work (up to 70% to 80%).
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to manage conflicts effectively.

The salary range for this position is competitive and will be determined based on local market conditions and the candidate's qualifications and experience. The total compensation package may also include additional benefits such as medical, retirement plans, and performance incentives.
