Position Overview

The Accounting Analyst and Supervisor is tasked with overseeing the reporting, execution, and management of all financial operations within the organization. This encompasses essential accounting functions such as strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting, and thorough financial assessments. Additionally, this role includes managerial responsibilities aimed at enhancing processes and advancing digital transformation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Audits, Oversight & Compliance: Formulate methodologies and practices to ensure that financial documentation adheres to legal standards and industry best practices. Establish and supervise internal audits and controls to maintain data integrity.
  • Support Planning and Commercial Insight: Proactively gather and analyze data, collaborate with various stakeholders, and create detailed reports to facilitate informed decision-making, provide commercial insights, and assist in financial forecasting and budgeting.
  • Analysis and Technical Expertise: Utilize accounting analysis skills to provide data-driven recommendations to the executive management team regarding financial decisions. Collect and refine data from diverse sources, ensuring accuracy and optimizing retrieval processes.
  • Lead Operational Excellence: Assist in process enhancement and digital transformation initiatives, contribute to the organizational culture, and aid in the development of policies and procedures. Offer leadership, guidance, and management to the finance and accounting team.

  • Payroll Cycle Oversight and Approvals
  • Accounts Receivable Reporting
  • Sales Representatives Commission Accounting

Occasional Activities

  • Asset Accounting (Financing, Depreciation, Auditing)
  • Intercompany Transactions Monitoring and Settling
  • Shareholder/Financing Transactions Accounting
  • Budgeting, Forecasting and Variance Reporting
  • Break-Even Analysis Reporting
  • Capital Expenditure Reporting

Qualifications

  • Education: A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics is essential. Candidates must demonstrate technical data analysis capabilities, including Data Wrangling, Cleaning, Interpretation, and Visualization.
  • Experience: A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in small to medium enterprises in an analyst or supervisory capacity, showcasing proven technical skills.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in QuickBooks Online Workflows is mandatory. Extensive experience with Excel is required. Exceptional skills in Data Wrangling and Manipulation are necessary. Familiarity with Salesforce Reporting is an advantageous asset.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills are crucial. Ability to engage effectively with staff at all organizational levels. A professional demeanor to collaborate successfully with the management team and other stakeholders. Excellent management and administrative skills, with sound judgment and decision-making capabilities.

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Compensation: $50,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
