Position Overview

The Housekeeping Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the housekeeping department, ensuring that cleanliness and safety standards are upheld throughout the facility.

Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years in a supervisory role within housekeeping
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement operational procedures for the housekeeping team.
  • Procure necessary equipment and supplies to maintain efficient operations.
  • Coordinate activities of housekeeping supervisors and staff to ensure optimal performance.
  • Conduct inspections of assigned areas to ensure compliance with cleanliness standards.
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and departmental policies.
  • Manage inventory of supplies, equipment, and uniforms.
  • Schedule and delegate tasks to housekeeping personnel.
Work Environment
  • Transportation: Public transportation is accessible.
  • Physical Requirements: Attention to detail, ability to stand for extended periods, and a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
