About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Housekeeping Manager to join our team at Moosomin Country Squire Inn. As a key member of our housekeeping department, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and hospitality in our hotel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish Operational Procedures: Develop and implement effective housekeeping procedures to ensure efficient and effective cleaning and maintenance of hotel rooms and public areas.
  • Select and Purchase Equipment and Supplies: Source and purchase high-quality cleaning equipment and supplies to maintain the hotel's standards.
  • Plan and Coordinate Activities: Supervise and coordinate the activities of housekeeping staff to ensure seamless operations and high-quality service.
  • Inspect and Maintain Quality Standards: Conduct regular inspections to ensure that hotel rooms and public areas meet our high standards of cleanliness and quality.
  • Ensure Safety and Compliance: Ensure that all housekeeping staff are aware of and comply with safety standards and departmental policies.
  • Maintain Inventory and Scheduling: Manage the inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, and schedule housekeeping staff to ensure efficient operations.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a housekeeping or hospitality role.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Work Environment

As a member of our housekeeping team, you will work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. You will be required to stand for extended periods and move around the hotel to perform your duties.
