About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quality Control Associate to join our team at HelloFresh. As a Quality Control Associate, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality of our products and maintaining our high standards of food safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct quality control inspections to ensure products meet our specifications and standards.
  • Work closely with the Warehouse team to achieve quality targets and ensure accurate inventory management.
  • Respond to quality and/or BBD issues on the production lines and communicate with cross-functional teams.
  • Lead production associates for ingredient sorting and ensure accuracy and efficiency at designated ship out stations.
  • Perform quality control inspections on work-in-progress and finished products to ensure compliance with Company Standards.
  • Ensure compliance with OH&S acts and regulations and report workplace hazards and dangers to the supervisor or employer.

Requirements:

  • Post-secondary education in Biological, Chemical or Food Sciences diploma.
  • 6 Months to 1 year experience working in QC/QA in a food processing, manufacturing or service industry.
  • Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50lbs and stand for prolonged periods of time.
  • Understanding of the Safe Food for Canadians Regulations and GFSI schemes.
  • Ability to communicate in English, both verbal and written.
  • Familiar with MS Office, Google Apps and comfortable learning new technologies.
  • Ability to prioritize, remain calm and alert while multitasking in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment.
