Position Overview:
As the Strategy & Integrated Planning Manager, you will report directly to the Director of Corporate Strategic Initiatives. This dynamic team is responsible for driving strategic development, ensuring enterprise alignment, and integrating plans to achieve our strategic objectives.
Your role will involve leading an adaptive planning process to ensure effective strategy execution across the organization. You will collaborate closely with senior leadership and subject matter experts to enhance strategy and maximize impact and return on investment.
As a trusted advisor, you will incorporate market intelligence into strategy and planning processes, working both independently and as part of a team to meet established goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate an adaptive, integrated planning process that translates corporate strategy into actionable operational plans.
- Guide teams through all phases of the planning process, providing solutions for agile review and recalibration in a complex environment.
- Regularly evaluate strategies and initiatives to identify opportunities for increased alignment and accelerated execution.
- Manage the identification, evaluation, selection, and performance measurement of strategic opportunities at the enterprise level.
- Utilize strong business acumen and design thinking to scope strategic opportunities, focusing on cross-functional initiatives.
- Plan and conduct strategic planning workshops with leaders across the organization.
- Support senior leaders in developing impactful presentations that clearly articulate strategic goals.
- Facilitate the preparation and presentation of business cases for executive decision-making.
- Collaborate with Corporate Communications to promote understanding of corporate strategy and implementation progress.
- Oversee performance measurement of the corporate strategy, ensuring alignment with executive targets.
- Present progress on plans and collaborate with support functions to aggregate performance insights.
- Ensure integrated resource planning aligns with budgeting processes.
- Act as a thought leader, demonstrating leadership through influence and collaboration.
- Exhibit accountability and tenacity in strategic planning leadership.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in developing and applying enterprise-wide strategic frameworks.
- Exceptional project management skills; experience in business portfolio management is an asset.
- Strong communication skills, with a talent for business storytelling.
- Ability to build trust and influence across the organization.
- Experience in fostering positive relationships with diverse groups.
- Innovative leadership skills with a focus on design and systems thinking.
