Bloom Care Solutions is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal Support Worker to join our team. As a Personal Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our clients, promoting their independence, and enhancing their overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care to clients, including assistance with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Support clients in performing Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including meal preparation, light housekeeping, laundry, and more.
  • Assist clients in safely ambulating and transferring, promoting their mobility and independence.
  • Perform delegated tasks as required, ensuring the highest level of care and attention to detail.
  • Provide psychological and emotional support to clients, fostering a sense of comfort and security.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, family members, and stakeholders, ensuring clear and timely information exchange.
  • Promote a safe environment for both clients and workers, adhering to industry standards and regulations.

Requirements:

  • PSW certification or diploma is a must.
  • First Aid Certificate and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Certificate (within 1 year).
  • Police Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening.
  • Tb test and Immunizations (up to date).
