About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Shift Manager to join our team at C-Lovers Fish & Chips Vernon. As a Shift Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our team members are well-trained and motivated.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Management: Train and develop staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and a safe working environment.
  • Inventory Management: Estimate and manage ingredient and supply requirements to optimize meal preparation and minimize waste.
  • Customer Service: Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring that every customer leaves satisfied.
  • Reporting and Administration: Prepare and submit accurate reports, including balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms, to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Operations Management: Establish work schedules, ensure health and safety regulations are followed, and conduct performance reviews to evaluate team member performance.
  • Financial Management: Cost products and services, and balance cash to ensure accurate financial records.
  • Government Programs: Recognize and comply with government programs, including work term and language requirements.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field, or equivalent experience
