About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Shift Manager to join our team at C-Lovers Fish & Chips Vernon. As a Shift Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of staff members and ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant during your shift.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Train and develop staff members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to provide excellent customer service and maintain high standards of food quality and safety.
  • Operations Management: Estimate and manage inventory, supplies, and equipment to ensure efficient use of resources and minimize waste.
  • Customer Service: Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring that all customers receive a positive experience.
  • Reporting and Administration: Prepare and submit reports on sales, inventory, and other relevant metrics to management.
  • Scheduling and Time Management: Create and manage schedules for staff members, ensuring that adequate coverage is provided during peak periods.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed, and that the restaurant is maintained in a clean and safe environment.
  • Cost Control: Monitor and control costs associated with food, supplies, and labor to ensure that the restaurant operates within budget.
  • Performance Evaluation: Conduct regular performance evaluations of staff members to identify areas for improvement and provide feedback.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role, or equivalent experience.
