Environmental Justice Air Quality Specialist

ProSidian Consulting, LLC is seeking an Environmental Justice Air Quality Engineer to support the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) in its mission to promote environmental justice and equity.
Key Responsibilities:- Review and analyze environmental assessment documents and policies from federal, state, and local agencies to identify impacts on environmental justice communities related to infrastructure projects.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of air quality, air pollution, air permitting, and air emissions in the context of FERC-regulated energy projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure environmental justice considerations are integrated into FERC processes and decision-making.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance on air quality regulations, standards, and compliance requirements.
- Develop detailed reports and presentations summarizing findings and conclusions related to the geographic scope of environmental justice impacts.
- Participate in staff briefings and engage in communication with stakeholders to present analysis results and recommendations.
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Atmospheric Science, or a related field is required.
- Master's degree or higher in Air Quality Management, Environmental Science, or a relevant discipline is preferred.
- U.S. Citizenship Required.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Products.

- Leadership: Ability to guide and lead colleagues on projects and initiatives.
