About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Air Quality Specialist to join our team at WSP Canada. As a key member of our Air Quality Modelling and Greenhouse Gas Team, you will be responsible for completing assessments and supporting the design of major infrastructure projects in Ontario and beyond.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and/or support the preparation of emission summary and dispersion modelling reports, air quality studies, greenhouse gas emission inventories, and technical support documents to support design, permitting, and compliance and environmental assessments.
  • Collaborate with our counterparts in various disciplines at WSP to prepare proposals and deliver client projects.
  • Provide technical expertise and client deliverables on projects.
  • Work as part of a large collaborative and diverse team of air quality professionals, including senior and junior members.
  • Manage relationships with internal and external clients, ensuring their needs are understood and met, and providing guidance and expertise.
Requirements
  • University or equivalent education or experience in related sciences or engineering fields.
  • 5-10 years of experience in the air quality field.
  • Enjoy environmental consulting where each day is a new challenge.
  • Proficient in MS Office suite of products.
  • Comfortable using emission and dispersion models, including AERMOD, CALPUFF, MOVES, and others.
  • Outstanding communication skills with initiative and drive.
  • Enjoy working as part of a team.
