Responsibilities

  • Answer and transfer telephone inquiries, greet and direct visitors;
  • Provide routine information and respond to inquiries from residents, visitors, and staff;
  • Conduct active screening of employees and visitors;
  • Sort and distribute incoming and outgoing mail and couriers;
  • Prepare and distribute forms, reports, and other documents to appropriate personnel and departments;
  • Perform a wide variety of assignments, which may be confidential in nature;
  • Receive, process, and record client payments;
  • Ensure client safety by adhering to all standard operational procedures, safe work practices, and training provided.

Qualifications

In addition to valuing continuous improvement, collaboration, and accountability, you bring:

  • A high-school diploma or GED;
  • Excellent computer skills and experience in Microsoft Office Suite;
  • Previous hospitality/customer service experience is an asset, especially with seniors;
  • Ability to provide a clear criminal record check upon hire;
  • A friendly and outgoing demeanor is essential;
  • Knowledge of medical terminology is considered an asset;
  • Ability to work during the day and weekends as needed;
  • A passion for the healthcare sector and/or ensuring seniors have access to quality accommodations, services, and care.
