Position Overview:
As a Bilingual Investment Advisor, you will serve as the primary liaison for Scotia iTRADE clients through our inbound Contact Centre. Your role is pivotal in executing trade orders on behalf of clients while ensuring a high standard of service.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide timely, accurate, and professional assistance to clients, maintaining exceptional service quality.
- Address client inquiries and troubleshoot basic technical issues, ensuring effective resolution of client problems.
- Manage client complaints with appropriate communication, documentation, and archiving.
- Conduct transactions involving Equities, ETFs, Mutual Funds, Fixed Income, and FX, adhering to firm and industry policies.
- Assess and mitigate potential risks through a thorough understanding of authorization limits and detailed trade analysis.

Client Interaction:
- Perform margin client interviews to evaluate client knowledge regarding account upgrades.
- Identify and resolve trading discrepancies efficiently, processing trade corrections with necessary approvals.
- Uphold all Guidelines for Business Conduct and Privacy policies while recognizing and acting on quality opportunities.

Collaboration:
- Build effective working relationships across teams and various business lines.
- Participate in special projects as required, contributing to team objectives.

Qualifications:
- Fluency in French and English is essential, as communication with English-speaking colleagues and clients is frequent.
- Broad knowledge of investment products, including Equities, Fixed Income, and Mutual Fund Securities.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify risks to the firm.
- Familiarity with back-office functionalities and excellent time management skills to prioritize workloads effectively.

Licensing:
- IIROC licensed as an Investment Representative and holds a Derivative Fund Options License (DFOL).
