The Airport Security Training Coordinator is responsible for delivering comprehensive training programs to Screening Officers in various software and systems, ensuring compliance with program requirements and guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement on-the-job training sessions, including practical training, assessments, and skill development workshops
- Develop and deliver new procedures and orientation training programs
- Provide recommendations on certification maintenance and professional development
- Foster strong relationships with Screening Officer personnel
- Facilitate refresher sessions and hands-on training exercises
Requirements:
- Post-secondary education in a related field, such as education or training
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a related field, preferably in airport security or a similar industry
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in adult learning and training delivery, with a focus on aviation security
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with stakeholders
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality
- Flexibility to work in a 24/7 operation, with a focus on ensuring seamless training delivery
- Aviation-related experience is an asset, but not required
Compensation:
The salary range for this position is $70,000 - $75,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
