About the Role

We are seeking a Registered Adult Nurse to join our team as a Midwifery Training Opportunity. This is a unique chance to develop your skills and knowledge in midwifery, leading to registration as a midwife with the Nursing and Midwifery Council.

The programme is a 2-year, full-time Masters course provided jointly with Sheffield Hallam University and the Newcastle upon Tyne Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. You will gain the underpinning knowledge and skills to develop your expertise in the field of midwifery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the provision of high-quality midwifery care and the appropriate use and development of resources.
  • Work through a recognised Midwifery Preparation programme as directed by the NMC.
