Head of Distribution Canada

This is a key leadership role for someone with deep knowledge of the Canadian marketplace across all client channels (Insurance, Institutional & Wealth).

We are seeking a strategic, client-centric leader to join our Global Distribution team at Aviva Investors.

You will report directly to the Chief Distribution Officer and be a senior member of the Distribution leadership team that spans UK, Europe, North America, and Asia Pacific.

You will lead the Canadian Distribution team and leverage the broader resources of Aviva Investors, including Investments, Sustainable Investing, RFP, and Market Intelligence.

In this role, you will lead the Distribution efforts in Canada to grow the Institutional, Insurance, and Wealth channels in line with objectives agreed with the Global Head of Distribution.

The successful candidate will be encouraged to deliver and execute upon the Canadian Distribution business development and client retention plans across all three client channels to maintain and enhance existing client relationships while ensuring a high-quality service is delivered to clients.

Key requirements include:

  • Deep understanding of public and private markets
  • Excellent practical knowledge and understanding of regulatory requirements with a consistent record of practical compliance
  • Relevant post-graduate qualifications, e.g., CFA, CAIA, Masters in Finance, MBA
