We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Self Checkout Associate to join our team at Walmart Canada. As a Self Checkout Associate, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a clean and organized self-service area, ensuring a safe and efficient shopping environment for customers.
  • Provide education and support to customers on the correct use of self-service options, promoting a seamless shopping experience.
  • Upsell and promote company-sponsored programs, such as credit card services and product protection initiatives.
  • Monitor customer activity and provide assistance when needed, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Respond to EAS alarms and complete necessary documentation.
  • Communicate effectively with the Customer Service Manager to resolve technical issues and maintain adequate cash levels in the self-service area.
  • Return Scan & Go scanners to their designated home after use.
Requirements
  • Minimum Qualifications: A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience in customer service or retail sales is an asset.
