Position Overview:
The Automotive Customer Service Consultant serves as the liaison between our skilled technicians and valued customers. In this engaging role, you will have the opportunity to interact directly with customers, translating technician recommendations into clear, understandable terms while identifying additional service opportunities to ensure vehicle safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Schedule, confirm, and prepare for customer appointments to ensure a seamless service experience.
- Achieve or surpass sales targets and customer satisfaction metrics.
- Welcome customers warmly upon their arrival.
- Assess vehicle requirements based on customer input and vehicle inspections.
- Utilize a consultative approach to guide customers in planning necessary vehicle maintenance.
- Generate repair orders for customers, providing transparent cost and time estimates.
- Maintain regular communication with technicians and parts staff to ensure timely service completion.
- Update customers on their vehicle status according to their preferred communication method.
- Follow up with customers to confirm satisfaction with the service provided.
- Acquire in-depth product knowledge to assist customers effectively.
- Deliver an exceptional customer experience to foster loyalty.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven track record of delivering outstanding customer service.
- Ability to meet and exceed set goals.
- Previous sales experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Commitment to following up with customers.
- Familiarity and comfort with technology.
- Valid driver's license with a safe driving record.
