Job Title: Senior Building Operations Supervisor

About the Company: The Government of Nova Scotia's Building Services Division is dedicated to the effective management and upkeep of provincial facilities and structures throughout the region.

About the Opportunity: The Senior Building Operations Supervisor is integral to maintaining the safety and operational efficiency of provincial infrastructure. This role encompasses the oversight of Building Operators, management of repair and maintenance activities, and the assurance of uninterrupted building services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing daily building operations
  • Executing repair and maintenance duties
  • Identifying and implementing solutions for operational inefficiencies
  • Managing preventative maintenance initiatives
  • Leading special projects as required

Qualifications:

  • Possession of a Power Engineer 3rd Class certificate
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
  • Demonstrated supervisory experience
  • Strong understanding of building construction and operational practices
  • Expertise in various building systems
