Position Overview:

As a Service Warranty Specialist, you will collaborate closely with the Construction and Warranty teams, playing a vital role in delivering outstanding customer service to our Home Buying Clients. Your responsibilities will include engaging with homeowners, updating them on progress, addressing their concerns, and ensuring their satisfaction with our services. You will consistently uphold the company's quality standards and strive to exceed homeowner expectations.

This is a full-time, permanent role based in Calgary.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with the Warranty Coordinator to ensure precise scheduling and an understanding of customer requirements.
  • Actively listen to clients' needs, address their concerns, and provide effective solutions.
  • Conduct Orientation and Possession meetings with homeowners and site supervisors.
  • Engage with site personnel and trade partners to facilitate prompt resolution of warranty issues.
  • Work alongside clients to discuss construction updates, inquiries, and any issues they may have.
  • Maintain thorough, accurate, and organized records for all warranty-related documents, including contracts and change orders.
  • Ensure that warranty repairs are executed accurately and promptly, while maintaining a strong focus on customer service throughout all interactions.
  • Plan adequately for necessary materials to ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Foster a constructive and supportive relationship with homeowners.
  • Accompany trades on service calls as needed, documenting and completing required tasks.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in carpentry or skilled labor, with proficiency in a variety of power tools and construction techniques.
  • At least 5 years of on-site experience within the construction industry.
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural plans and specifications.
  • Familiarity with Progressive Warranty and the Construction Performance Guide.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proven time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
  • A positive, proactive, and adaptable approach to tasks.
