Job SummaryAs an Instrumentation Technician, you will perform critical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair tasks on pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems. Your expertise will ensure the smooth operation of our equipment and contribute to the production of life-saving medicines.
Key Responsibilities- Troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical and electrical systems
- Perform calibration and maintenance tasks on various instruments and equipment
- Conduct integrity testing to ensure product efficacy
- Coordinate with departments and customers to minimize production disruptions
- Compile and maintain documentation for maintenance and calibration programs
- Arrange for contract services as needed and supervise third-party work
- Ensure compliance with internal and external procedures, codes, and safety standards
- Update work instructions for calibration procedures
- Perform all work in accordance with Apotex's Corporate Values and regulatory requirements
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; industrial instrumentation apprenticeship preferred
- Experience: Minimum five years in maintenance, repair, and calibration of mechanical and electrical systems
- Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Experience in troubleshooting electronic equipment; pharmaceutical industry experience preferred; keyboarding skills and MS Office knowledge; working knowledge of company GMPs; good communication and interpersonal skills
