Medical Device Processing Specialist

About the Role
As a Medical Device Processing Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and efficacy of medical equipment used at Mackenzie Health. Your responsibilities will encompass the meticulous decontamination, reprocessing, and sterilization of a wide range of instruments, supplies, and equipment.

What You Bring
- Secondary School Diploma or equivalent.
- Successful completion of a Sterile Processing Technician Program from an accredited institution.
- Minimum two years of experience handling complex surgical instruments and operating room instrumentation.
- Proven experience with Low Temperature Sterilization techniques.
- Proficiency in computer applications.
- Solid understanding of medical terminology.
Preferred Qualifications
- Two years of experience working in a Central Sterile Supply Department (CS/SPD).
