Medical Devices Reprocessing Specialist

Job Summary
Mackenzie Health is seeking a highly skilled Medical Devices Reprocessing Technician to join our team. As a key member of our Sterile Processing Department, you will be responsible for the decontamination, reprocessing, and sterilization of medical equipment and supplies.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a workload effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Address and resolve issues in a productive and respectful manner.
- Exercise sound professional judgment and use best practice guidelines.
- Contribute to a safe and inclusive environment for all through compliance with patient and staff safety policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Secondary School or equivalent.
- Successful completion of Sterile Processing Technician Program (or Equivalent) through an accredited College.
- Two years' experience working with complex surgical instruments and operating room instrumentation.
- Experience with Low Temperature Sterilization.
- Computer experience required.
- Knowledge of Medical Terminology required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Two years of working experience in CS/SPD preferred.
