About Tokyo Kitchen

We are a dynamic and fast-paced restaurant group seeking a highly skilled and experienced Kitchen Manager to join our team. As a Kitchen Manager at Tokyo Kitchen, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our kitchen, ensuring that our high standards of quality and service are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Kitchen Staff

Lead and motivate a team of kitchen staff to ensure seamless execution of menu items and exceptional customer service.

Train and Develop Staff

Provide comprehensive training to kitchen staff on food preparation, presentation, and safety procedures to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.

Quality Control and Assurance

Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure that all menu items meet our high standards of taste, presentation, and safety.

Inventory Management and Control

Manage inventory levels, monitor stock, and maintain accurate records to ensure that we have the necessary supplies to meet customer demand.

Health and Safety Compliance

Ensure that all kitchen staff are aware of and adhere to health and safety regulations, including proper food handling and storage procedures.

Problem-Solving and Conflict Resolution

Address any issues that may arise, including customer complaints, supply chain disruptions, and staff conflicts, in a professional and timely manner.

Requirements and Qualifications
  • Education and Experience

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate and 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a kitchen management role.

Work Setting

Restaurant environment with a fast-paced and dynamic atmosphere.

Personal Qualities

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
