We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our team at Montana's BBQ & Bar. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality meals for our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Food Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records of food, supplies, and equipment to ensure efficient ordering and minimize waste.
- Kitchen Maintenance: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and organization, and take corrective action as needed.
- Supply Chain Management: Order supplies and equipment as needed to maintain a well-stocked kitchen.
- Customer Service: Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, and provide excellent customer service to ensure a positive dining experience.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a kitchen environment.
- Work Setting: Restaurant, urban area, and bar environment.
- Transportation: Own transportation or public transportation available.
- Physical Demands: Physically demanding, standing for extended periods, and working in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail required to ensure quality and presentation of dishes.
