About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper to join our team at Chinese Wok. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our food preparation and service areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, work surfaces, and storage areas to maintain a high level of hygiene and safety standards.
  • Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas, ensuring that all products are properly labeled and stored.
  • Remove kitchen garbage and trash, and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit, and assist with food preparation as needed.
  • Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and service.
Work Environment

As a Kitchen Helper at Chinese Wok, you will work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of physical activity. You will be required to lift heavy loads, stand for long periods, and work under pressure to meet deadlines.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Will train on the job.
