Role Responsibilities:

Reporting directly to the supervisor, the Industrial Mechanics Technician will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing the performance of equipment across various facilities. Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment, including:
    • Conveyors
    • Grinders
    • Shredders
    • Tables
    • Vibrating tables
    • Hydraulic systems
    • Presses
  • Diagnosing mechanical issues and malfunctions;
  • Inspecting components for wear and replacing defective parts;
  • Testing repaired machinery to ensure optimal performance;
  • Collaborating on efficiency improvements and equipment upgrades;
  • Completing work orders and necessary follow-ups;
  • Maintaining a clean and safe work environment;
  • Adhering to company health, safety, and environmental policies;
  • Performing other related duties as required.

Required Qualifications:

  • Completion of an Industrial Mechanics DEP;
  • At least 3 years of experience in the field;
  • Familiarity with hydraulic systems is an asset;
  • Welding skills are advantageous;
  • Knowledge of chain-driven machinery.

Additional Information:

  • Standard working hours: Day shift;
