Job Description
We are seeking an Electromechanic Technician to join our team at Veolia. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the maintenance, repair, and optimization of electromechanical systems and equipment in our industrial facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections of electromechanical systems and equipment, including electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with equipment and systems, and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime and optimize performance.
- Install, configure, and test new equipment and systems, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct tests and measurements using control and analysis instruments, and optimize equipment performance and efficiency.
- Develop and implement maintenance plans and schedules to ensure optimal equipment performance and minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements and optimize equipment performance.
- Participate in quality, safety, and environmental initiatives, and contribute to the development of procedures and guidelines for maintenance and repair activities.
- Perform other related duties as required.
Requirements:
- Diploma in Electromechanical Systems or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial equipment maintenance, preferably in biomethanization, petrochemicals, or water treatment.
- Valid certification as an electrician or electromechanic, and proficiency in the use of electrical and mechanical tools and equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work with diverse stakeholders and teams.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
