Job Summary

SHUBH PHARMACY LTD. is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our pharmacy operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prescription Verification: Verify the accuracy of prescription information, including patient details and medication orders.
  • Client Data Entry: Enter client information into our database, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Medication Preparation: Prepare medications for clients, adhering to strict quality control standards.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and direct the activities of other medical technologists or technicians, promoting a collaborative and efficient work environment.
  • Food Service Support: Assist in supervising personnel who prepare and serve food, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Patient Care: Take body or limb measurements of patients, providing accurate and reliable data for healthcare professionals.
  • Insurance Billing: Bill third-party insurers for services rendered, ensuring timely and accurate reimbursement.
  • Menu Assistance: Help patients complete menus, promoting healthy eating habits and nutritional well-being.
  • Research Support: Assist dietitians with research in food, nutrition, and food service systems, contributing to the development of evidence-based practices.
  • Patient Education: Advise patients on loss of depth perception, providing guidance and support to ensure optimal health outcomes.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a pharmacy or healthcare setting.
