Key Responsibilities
  • Accuracy and Quality Control: Verify the accuracy of prescription information and ensure that medications are prepared and dispensed correctly.
  • Client Data Management: Enter client information into our database system and maintain accurate records.
  • Medication Preparation: Prepare medications for clients in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and direct the activities of other medical technologists or technicians as needed.
  • Food Service Support: Assist in supervising personnel who prepare and serve food in our pharmacy.
  • Patient Care: Take body or limb measurements of patients and provide assistance with menu planning.
  • Administrative Tasks: Bill third-party insurers and assist with research in food, nutrition, and food service systems.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a pharmacy setting.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Schedule: 32 to 40 hours per week.
