Role Overview
The Client Relationship Specialist 2 position is designed to deliver exceptional service to Banking Center clients while supporting the team in meeting sales, service, and operational objectives aligned with Webster's strategic framework. This role involves processing all customer-related financial transactions in compliance with the bank's regulations and guidelines. Utilizing strong communication and active listening skills, you will identify customers' financial needs, build trust, maximize sales opportunities, generate leads, and provide outstanding customer service. Additionally, you will foster and maintain robust partnerships with various business segments through effective collaboration and communication. This position also includes the responsibility of supervising and mentoring fellow relationship specialists.

Key Responsibilities
• Address customer inquiries accurately and promptly, leveraging available resources and tools.
• Assess client needs and recommend suitable financial products and services through needs-based discussions to strengthen relationships.
• Execute routine teller transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, loan payments, and other necessary transactions.
• Implement sales, retention, and other banking initiatives to support the Banking Center's growth and profitability goals.
• Strive to meet or exceed both individual and team targets in sales, service, and operations.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, as well as bank policies and procedures, while meeting or surpassing branch audit and operational evaluation standards.
• Provide guidance and support to banking center colleagues, acting as a role model and assisting in the onboarding of new team members.

Qualifications
• High school diploma or GED is required; an Associate's or Bachelor's degree is preferred.
• 2-4 years of experience in customer sales/service, with 1-2 years in a supervisory role preferred. Proven success in leading, coaching, and motivating teams.
• Comprehensive knowledge of all products and services offered.
• Stay updated with all systems utilized for branch transaction processing.
• Exhibit strong customer service skills and the ability to foster teamwork, creating a positive work environment.
• Flexibility to work a rotating schedule, including weekends and extended hours, with potential travel to alternate Banking Centers.

Compensation
The estimated salary range for this position is competitive and may vary based on job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, and location. This role is also eligible for incentive compensation.
