About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as an Associate Advisor at Royal Bank of Canada. As a key member of our advisory team, you will play a critical role in deepening client relationships and identifying new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate meetings and events for our Investment Advisors with clients and prospects, ensuring seamless execution and follow-up.
  • Provide exceptional client service, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Identify opportunities for new business growth and asset consolidation among existing clients.
  • Conduct ongoing research on markets and investments, providing regular updates to the advisory team.
  • Review portfolios regularly and rebalance them with guidance from the advisory team.
  • Make recommendations for changes, switches, and position management to ensure alignment with our investment models.
  • Coordinate activities with wealth management and insurance specialists, scheduling, tracking progress, and following up as needed.
Requirements
  • Approval as a Registered Representative (RR) with IIROC.
  • Successful completion of the Wealth Management Essentials (WME) course.
  • University degree.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 4 years or more of professional experience within the investment industry.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Highly developed client service skills.
  • Working towards completion of CIM/CFA within 1 year.

The expected base salary range for this position is $38,000 - $55,000, depending on your experience, skills, and registration status, market conditions, and business needs. You have the potential to earn considerably more through our robust discretionary bonus program, provided the business meets its performance targets and you meet your individual goals.
