As a representative of RBC, you provide value during crucial moments for clients and work alongside RBC partners to help clients reach their financial objectives. Whether you're guiding a client through digital banking, welcoming a new client, or connecting a complex situation to a specialist, your skills will play a vital role in crafting impactful and memorable client experiences that foster satisfaction and loyalty.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively engage with clients across all branch areas and within the community, identifying banking needs, offering assistance and advice, and recognizing sales and referral opportunities.
  • Emphasize client education and demonstrations, utilizing technology to create memorable client experiences, drive sales, and retain business.
  • Respond to inquiries initiated by clients, assisting them with a comprehensive range of financial transactions.
  • Actively listen and engage clients in dialogue to better understand their unique needs.
  • Take initiative in resolving and preventing client banking issues.
  • Build and maintain relationships with partners to maximize business opportunities and referrals.

Qualifications for Success

Essential Skills:

  • A demonstrated commitment to prioritizing clients, along with a proven track record in a hands-on, target-driven sales environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to establish robust relationships and proactively engage with clients.
  • Adaptability, a willingness to learn, strong ethical standards, and a drive for success.
  • Proficiency in digital tools across various devices (e.g., smartphones, tablets, laptops).
  • Availability to work during all business hours.

Preferred Skills:

  • A history of building rapport and sustaining client relationships within the financial or service sectors.
  • Relevant certifications such as Mutual Funds accreditation (e.g., Investment Funds in Canada or the Canadian Securities Course).
