The University of Saskatchewan is seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Coordinator to join the Veterinary Medical Centre team. As a key member of the HR team, you will provide high-level support and coordination to the VMC, ensuring the smooth functioning of day-to-day HR activities.
Key Responsibilities- Recruit, onboard, and offboard clinic employees, ensuring a seamless experience for all parties involved.
- Develop and maintain HR systems, documents, and resources to support the VMC.
- Provide generalist HR support, addressing day-to-day employer and employee issues and concerns.
- Assist in the implementation of HR programs and projects, ensuring compliance with university policies and procedures.
- Build and maintain exceptional working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, upholding a high level of customer service.
To be successful in this role, you will require a relevant university degree, preferably in Human Resources or a related field. A minimum of two years of generalist HR experience is preferred, with a proven track record of supporting senior-level administrators and handling sensitive information. Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills are essential, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
What We OfferThe University of Saskatchewan offers a competitive salary range of $52,228.00 per annum, commensurate with education and experience. This is a permanent, full-time position with a 1.0 FTE, offering a hybrid work arrangement under the terms of USask's Alternative Workspace Guidelines.
